Definitions

Loyalty: Loyalty is defined as repeat purchase behavior from unique customers maintained over time. The frequency, recency, and monetary value of purchase metrics are unique to different industries and product categories. Within a specific circumstance (industry, product category, service type) there are specific parameters of “Loyal” frequency, recency, and monetary value.

Brand Equity: Brand Equity is defined by the efficacy by which a brand introduces itself to a potential customer (a Prospect) and matriculates that customer to a state of Loyal purchasing behavior.

Brand Advocate: A customer that demonstrates Loyal purchase behavior over time and high recommendation rates as well.
